Easter
A very calm Easter. Just the way I like’em. I don’t care much for Easter itself, other than the fact that people around me get some extra time off, which is always nice. The boys are elsewhere this Easter so it’s just Marcus, the cats, the dog and me. Marcus spends most of this long weekend on his back, under a car, so really it’s mostly me and the fur people. That’s ok though, because 1) he is fixing my car and 2) he’s working on the rally car – we’re competing in our first rally of the year next weekend. Woohoo! Can’t wait!!
Yesterday afternoon we went to his family’s summer house and went for a walk in the forest there. A bit chilly but still wonderful.

It’s been very windy this spring and there were a lot of fallen pines on the grounds. This one missed the “moose tower” with just a quarter of an inch!

The evening was spent mostly on the couch, knitting and watching tv and a movie (X-Men: First Class).
Today we’re off to Marcus’ parents for dinner. Looking forward to it!
Hello Startitis

I ordered a skein of Fleece Artist Woolie Silk 3ply the other day. I meant to put it in my stash for a later date, but…

I couldn’t help myself, I just had to start knitting with it. I decided on another Lace Ribbon Scarf (Ravelry). It’s the third time I’m knitting this pattern, I really like it.
The first one I knit in Woolie Silk 2ply, in the color Moss. The second one was in BC Soft Silk, and it was a gift for my (now former) mother-in-law, Inge.

The cats, the dog and I are having a really nice and s l o w Good Friday here. Lovely! (Marcus is at the garage, trying to fix a gearbox.) I knit and watch movies – I just finished Abduction, it was ok. The fur people mostly take naps.

While we were sleeping…
I stayed up way too late last night
Laundry helper
