Look! Knitting!

There hasn’t been much knitting here in the blog lately, but there is knitting going on. When I don’t fall asleep, that is. I haven’t been attacked by the extremely stubborn cold that everyone else seems to have, but I must have been bitten by a sleep bug or something. I am so tired, all the time. Half the times I sit down to knit, I sit down and think to myself “I’m going to knit”. Half an hour later, I still haven’t started. Oftentimes I’ve fallen asleep.

It’s good for household chores, though. To stay awake, I have to be up and running, doing things. I am now close to actually seeing the long lost land called Laundry Basket Bottom. Not bad, eh?

But, on to the knitting.

I’m about half way through Annas Axelvärmare. I love the pattern, I love the yarn and I love the color! I am already thinking about what color my next one’s going to be.

Nutkin socks 1 (I have another pair going, but since I haven’t knitted on them since I last showed them to you, no new pictures) in the red Regia silk my secret pal sent me. I decided I really want a new pair of hand knitted socks NOW, so picked this up again last night but only managed two pattern repeats before my eyes got all funny and blurred while watching Grissom’s goodbyes. Hm…

My Swallowtail. A sort of long term project. I keep it here by the computer and knit a row here and a row there when my eyes need to look at something other than letters on the screen.
