Nothing much

Yesterday Peter and I went out for a drive.  We wanted to enjoy the first few hours in days that it wasn’t snowing and Peter also wanted to test his new lens. It was so nice to be outside without snow swirling all around you. There was even a hint of sunshine!

We drove past some fields with beautiful horses and I snapped a couple of photos:

I took the photos from the car so they’re not very good (I was cold so I didn’t even open the window, just shot through the glass), but the horses are still beautiful. I love horses.

I’m hoping today’s weather will allow us to go out again, but we’ll see. The weather report says more snow, and right now (9am) it’s too cold: -14C.

As far as knitting goes, I don’t have much to show you, I’m concentrating all my knitting time to the FLS vest right now. Here’s a picture, I’ve come a little further on the lace part:

Knitty’s spring issue is out. Did you find anything you like? I love the Aeolian shawl, it’s gorgeous. I also like the Absinthe and Cirque socks.

    Åh, vad fin din FLS blir! Ljuvliga färger. Snygg modeller ni hittade! :-)

    Jag funderar på att köpa en “mellanring” (heter det så) till min kamera (min :-) Peters gamla EOS 400D) som fejkar macro. Billigare än att köpa ett macroobjektiv.

    Shipwreck är den från nya Knitty som hamna högst upp på min lista. Men det var ett par fina strumpor också…

    Tack! :-) jag hoppas den ska passa också – jag har inte provat alls hittills… Men jag stickar efter samma storlek som den gröna, så det ska väl inte vara någpt problem.

    Jag vill också ha en mellanring så jag kan fota macro. Det är kul med objektiv som det Peter köpt också, men jag är mer intresserad av närbilder, och porträtt.
    Närbilder på blommor och flugor och annat är kul! Så där riktigt, riktigt nära.
