Yarn: Noro Silk Garden. 2 balls each of 84 and 279.
Needles: 5mm. Straight needles for once (only because I didn’t have any 5mm circs available).
Pattern: Just the ordinary 1×1 rib. I cast on 29 stitches. I think.
I love the scarf for its softness (I want to knit a cardigan in Silk Garden! But the cost… ouch!) and for the length. I’m a little disappointed in how the colors turned out, I wanted the scarf to be more jewel-ish in color. But, overall: love it! And the timing couldn’t be better – we’re having around -15C both day and night right now. Brrrr!

Jo men jag har faktiskt tänkt i de banorna jag med. Kanske är det det att den känns lite “tweedig”?
Roligt just med Harry Potter, förresten – för när jag såg de här bilderna när jag laddade över dem i datorn, så tänkte jag “Åh, en Hogsmeade-halsduk!”!
Jag blev besviken på färgerna, för jag hade liksom en bild i skallen. Men nu blev det helt enkelt en annan halsduk, och den är alldeles underbar. Har burit den ett par gånger nu och den är såååå skön!

I made a similar one for Hubs and I’ve got a second one on the needles using Silk Garden Lite. I’ll post pictures this weekend. It’s a quick and fun project, isn’t it?
I would kill for -15C by now. It’s been -20 stupid and lower forever and I’m going crazy! Tomorrow? High of -22 with a windchill of -42. Sheesh!
