I had a very nice family Christmas. Food (way too much), presents and lots of fun and games.
I received, among other things, two sets of Harmony wood dpn’s. Yummy!
Another knitting related gift was the beautiful “pouch” (not quite sure what to call it, but I think I’m going to use it to carry stitch markers and things in it) I received from Stickfrossa:

Isn’t it just sooo pretty?! Thank you Anna!!

I finished Julia’s hat:

I used not quite one full skein of Heaven’s Hand and I think I used (short, short memory…) 5 mm needles. The only changes I made was not making the bobbles as often as the pattern says.
I really like this, it’s so pretty! The yarn was a dream to work with! I think by now my love for Araucania Nature Wool is no secret. That and Heaven’s Hand are very similar, but: if I would pick one as number one, it would be Heaven’s Hand. It’s softer and I think the colors are brighter. Love it!
Peter and I went out for some fresh, wintery (cold, brrr) air and went to this tiny little lake for a while:

Here’s Peter in his new hat that I gave him for Christmas:

I wrote about it here if you want to know the details. He loves it, says it’s very comfy and very warm. Yay!
And finally, a crappy picture of my striped Noro scarf:

I’ve finished it since I took this picture, so I’ll try to remember to take a better one soon.
Outside my kitchen window, a little way out on the lawn, there’s a bird feeder and every morning a super cute squirrel comes here to eat seeds. I call him Pajas, because he is a real clown. Running up and down that feeder, keeping check of the surroundings, stomping his feet, eating seeds, running up and down the trees. Oh he is so so cute!
And now it’s time to draw the winners of the last Christmas competition over at Stickamera. Fun fun!

Om bloggen:

We’ve had a nice first Christmas and are waiting for the second one (Catholic and Orthodox is respected in our family). Peter’s hat looks really nice. And that green colour of the other hat… Lovely. Even though officially my favourite colour is red green is very high on the favourites list.
Have fun.

Cashmerecafe – I don’t know if I could ever find the energy for TWO Christmases.
Anna – jag är verkligen nöjd med mössan, det blir säkert fler. Diverse födelsedagar snart…
Jag älskar både min väska och min present, de är så fina så man knappt törs använda dem.
