That’s what I’ve had, working on Christmas gifts. I wish I had some finished ones to show but I don’t. The green Chevalier mitten is no more. It ended up really looong and skinny and very sillylooking, so I’ve scrapped it. Started over with a different yarn and it’s looking so much better:

The yarn is ECO Ull from Marks & Kattens, a real favorite. It’s nice and soft and cuddly and it always looks good, and it works very well for the Chevalier mittens I think. I love the pattern, it’s easy to follow and fun to knit. I have plans for at least one more pair to give away and then one for myself.
The red cup is another favorite thing, I bought it this weekend (at Åhléns) to cheer myself up a little. It works.
Last night I started on another project while watching The Da Vinci Code (for the 4th time, I love it!):

It’s Fig and Plum‘s Cashmere ribbed hat. If I like the result, this will be another Christmas gift.
I already know I like the yarn, Rowan Felted Tweed (color: “Grey mist”), bought from Garnkorgen. It’s my first time knitting with this and I l o v e it! It’s gorgeous, and so soft.
Today will be another day of knitting. Outside it’s windy and snowy and cold and I don’t want to stick my nose out the door for a minute.

Skönt att kunna sitta inne och sticka när vädret ute inte lockar.
Ha en bra dag.

Vad fint med den röda muggen och den vita vanten. Oh så vinterromantiskt, precis som jag vill ha det den här årstiden.
