Dishcloths in a cotton yarn called Viva. Bought from Torgstenen.
Nice cotton, I guess. I just really don’t like knitting with cotton. Too unstretchy for me. I like the finished cloths though.

A basic hat in black Eskimo, leftovers from my Drops jacket.
It looks a bit wonky in shape but it isn’t, it just wouldn’t stand up very well on its own.
Eskimo is a very nice yarn, but oh so “dusty”! After knitting this, the inside of my mouth and my throat felt like they were padded with Eskimo “dust”. I feel quite done with Eskimo for now.

Finally, my latest project:

Yup - Chevalier mittens. If you think you recognize the yarn, you are absolutely right. It is, again, Araucania Nature Wool in my favoritest shade of green. :)
I’m a bit concerned about this mitten, though. It’s turning out pretty small.
I thought the gauge would be close enough: 20 stitches in the pattern, 18 for the yarn, and I’m also knitting with 4mm needles instead of the required 3,75mm, but…

Oh well. I’ve tried it on and it’s a little bit on the narrow side - but not so much that it looks stretched out too much, so I’ll keep knitting and hope for the best. Plus, I have big, fat hands with sausage fingers and the recipient doesn’t, so…should be safe. :)

Snygga Chevalier! Jag stickar dem också!

Superfina diskisar!

I like knitting with Eskimo. Though sometimes, I get tired of those big, fat needles :) The mittens look great - lovely colour as well.

Emma - tack! Fast det blev inte bra. Jag har börjat om med annat garn.

Ulricha - tack! Jag hoppas mottagarna tycker detsamma. :)

Cashmerecafe - Eskimo is a very nice yarn, I absolutely agree. I just wish it didn’t release so much “fuzz”. :)
