Jag har länge varit sugen på att prova en top-down cardigan efter det här “receptet”. Igår tog jag hjälp av snälla sambon – han fick göra alla uträkningar åt mig (Jag är fullständigt totalkass när det gäller matte – egentligen allt som har med siffror att göra, jag klarar inte de enklaste uträkningar. Det går bara inte. Främmande språk, vilket som helst – inga problem! Men matte? Tvärnit.) och så satte jag igång. Är inte alls säker på att jag fattar hur det hela hänger ihop, med mått och uppdelningar menar jag, men det ordnar sig väl.
Jag har tänkt mig ett rätstickat ok och sedan resten i slätsticking, inspirerad av Jared Floods Cobblestone Pullover som jag tycker är så fin. Jag är väldigt förtjust i rätstickning.
Garnet är Evilla Artyarn 6/2 från Garnkorgen, i en favoritfärgkombination. Ganska sticksigt, men jag hoppas att lite av det försvinner i tvätt, och koftan är ju tänkt som ett utanpå-annat-plagg så mjukheten är inte jätteviktig.
New project, yep. I’ve wanted to try this “recipe” for a top-down cardigan for so long and last night I finally started on one.
The yarn is Evilla Artyarn 6/2, in one of my favorit color combos. It’s not very soft, but I hope it will soften a little after washing. We’ll see. It’s not that important since it’s not a garment I’ll be wearing without something else under it.
I’m doing the yoke in garter stitch inspired by Jared Flood’s Cobblestone Pullover, which I adore.

It is gorgeous, isn’t it? The Cobblestone Pullover, I mean. Simple but yet so gorgeous. I plan on knitting one for myself, but I want to find THE yarn for it, first.
This top-down cardigan will probably get some of the design features from the Cobblestone, like the garter stitch yoke and maybe the side strips with garter stitch too.

The colourway is very pretty. Sad that it isn’t as soft as it appears in the photo (is it like Noro?). I’m just working on Pomatomus sock #1. It’s going well and the yarn I’m using is quite nice. Can’t wait to get back home and sink my teeth into Rogue. I need a big project right now.

Aha – nu vet jag vad mitt “okända” estlandsgarn är för nåt! Och ett bra tips om vad jag kan göra av det.. blir spännande att se hur färgväxlingarna blir på din raglan – men redan i nystanet ser de jättehärliga ut

Jättefint garn är det, men det blir ingen kofta för mig, inte av just det garnet i alla fall. (Se inlägget ovanför detta.)
